Ribbon Rehearsal
To help with exam preparation, we have a Ribbon Rehearsal each year at which each dancer performs their exam dance on stage. Prize ribbons are awarded for each performance. This provides valuable stage experience and encourages confidence.
Focusing on the dance for this performance ensures exam dance standard is uplifted. Full exam attire is required and a little light make up is allowed.
Entry fee is usually $7.00 per dance payable with Term 2 fees. Spectators are welcome for a nominal Door Admission charge to help cover venue hire.

Trial Exam
A compulsory “Exam Rehearsal” or Trial Exam allows dancers to experience the actual procedure of exam day. This provides a confident approach to the exam day.
The rehearsal exam will be in full exam attire with hair done as per regulations.
No spectators for Rehearsal

Honours Badges
For those students who pass their exams with Honours or Honours with Distinction– Honours badges are available $8.50, which are presented along with certificates at the prize giving. These badges are a treasured acknowledgement of the work achieved to attain such a high mark.

Social Club
New helpers are always welcome and much needed!
There are lots of supportive ways to assist the studio that rely on helpers. Meetings are infrequent, a lot of contact is done while at lessons, so time commitment is not an issue.
However, parents support does make it possible for Bev to concentrate on giving full value to the dancers at lesson time if there are helpers to organise upcoming functions.
Notice of meetings always on the noticeboard.
